Procedures – Obagi Skin Therapy System

Because even the best surgical procedures cannot correct all of the signs of aging that time and the environment have caused on the texture, coloration, and quality of the facial skin, we recommend the use of a Retin-A based skin therapy regimen for many of our patients. In contrast to more invasive procedures such as laser resurfacing or chemical peels, a maintenance program such as Obagi is a safe and reliable method for diminishing fine lines and wrinkles, smoothing the skin surface, and eliminating uneven or blotchy discoloration. Dr. Alsarraf also performs skin resurfacing procedures, but often recommends that his patients first start on a Retin-A based system for several weeks prior to undergoing such treatment.
